First Lady Pastor Betty Twum is a true example of the Proverbs 31 woman, so filled with wisdom and knowledge. She’s a faithful servant of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a loving and devoted wife for over 26 years, a dedicated spiritual mother, and a mentor to all, especially the youth and the children’s ministry. As she walks alongside her husband, she efficiently helps to manage the church’s business and is always willing to assist in any capacity. Her role as a first lady is like none other. She is a down-to-earth and balanced woman of God. She doesn’t sit to be waited on; she will help wherever help is needed.
Our First Lady Mama Betty earned her Associate in Arts Business Administration with Summa Cum Laude, her Bachelor of Business Administration with Cum Laude, and her Master of Business Administration with Honors from Strayer University Washington D.C. No wonder God has blessed her with the gift of administration which has afforded her the ability to effectively manage the church alongside her husband Rev Maj Joe Twum the Lead Pastor. She also holds an associate degree in Christian Studies (ASC) from the Sure Foundation Theological Institute in Seminole, Florida. Mama Betty is also a banker by profession with several professional licenses in the industry.
Our First lady is an outstanding event planner. Many, when planning events, have recognized her commitment to excellence. she walks in the wisdom and favor of God, and her ability to multitask in several capacities is a great asset to the ministry. Her special interest focuses on empowering women, the youth, and children to fulfill their full potential, promoting positive thinking, and encouraging a positive environment with an atmosphere of prayer, love, and unity.
First Lady Betty Twum is the president of the women’s wing of the church, a very vibrant group called Royal ladies. As a powerful intercessory prayer warrior, she leads the women in prayer every Monday at midnight, dubbed Midnight Cry, a prayer ministry she was inspired by the Holy Spirit to start during the pandemic. Women are strengthened, renewed, and encouraged as they hear her teach and lead them to pray.
Her passion is relationship building and enhancement and to see everyone live peaceably with all men if it is within their power to do so according to the word of God. She is a blessing to our mission.
